Bloomberg is now reporting that Apple is internally discussing the UK and Canada as the first markets to get Vision Pro after the US.
- "Apple said it will offer the headset in other countries at the end of 2024. The company is discussing the UK and Canada as two of its first international markets with Asia and Europe soon after, although a final decision hasn’t been made, according to the people, who asked not to be named discussing internal matters. Apple engineers are working to localize the device for France, Germany, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea, the people said," reported Bloomberg.
A slow roll-out
It will be a slow roll-out even in the US, according to Bloomberg. Apple Vision Pro will only be available at Apple stores in major US areas in the beginning, and demonstrations will be given by appointment only.

This has to do with the complex nature of the product which must fit tightly onto the user's face while the lenses must be modified to suit users with reduced eyesight.
Another factor is that the micro-OLED screens are produced only in limited quantities through a new display production method on wafers, so-called OLED-on-Silicon.
The report claims that Apple is working on a cheaper model as well as a second-generation Vision Pro for release by 2026.
