Sony has announced that its 2023 QD-OLED model will start at $2800 in 55 inches in the US while the new 77-inch size will cost $5000.

Sony A95L will feature the 2023 QD-OLED panel and compete with the Samsung S95C which launched earlier this year starting at $2500. Samsung has also introduced a more affordable S90C.
Sony A95L is more expensive than Samsung's models in all sizes but $200–500 cheaper than last year's Sony A95K that received FlatpanelsHD's Reference Award.
In addition to the brighter and more efficient 2023 QD-OLED panel with 4K resolution, A95L comes with the Pentonic 1000 chip, Google TV, Cognitive Processor XR, the Bravia Core app, and two HDMI 2.1 ports. There is a new Game Menu and an Eco Dashboard.

Sony USA will start taking pre-orders on August 21 with shipping to follow in the near future. Sony Europe has yet to announce A95L pricing details.
