In addition to the price increases announced for the US, Disney+ will increase the price of its Premium plan, introduce ads, and introduce new subscription plans in 9 countries in Europe.
The changes apply to Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom starting November 1, 2023.
Two new Standard plans will be introduced; one with ads and one without. As opposed to the US, Disney+ Standard will be capped to maximum 1080p without HDR and with only 5.1 surround sound.

You need premium for 4K HDR, Atmos
In the future, you will need the Disney+ Premium plan for 4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos streaming.
The Premium plan will also get more expensive in the nine European countries starting November 1, 2023: £10.99 / €11.99 / DKK109 / NOK119 / SEK119 / CHF17.90 monthly.
In addition, you will need the Premium plan to have up to 4 simultaneous streams.
