LG has launched a new type of portable TV in a suitcase called StanbyME Go. It will be available starting later this month in the US for $1000.
LG's portable 27-inch LCD TV is larger than a tablet and comes with a built-in 20-watt speaker inside a suitcase along with a built-in battery pack.

Shorter battery life than a tablet
However, with up to only 3 hours of viewing time it will not last nearly as long as a tablet. LG did not provide an estimate for music playback time.
- "Content viewing is no longer confined to the living room or even the home, but until now, consumers have had to sacrifice screen size in favor of portability," said David Park, Head of HE Product Marketing. "LG StanbyME Go makes the full-scale viewing experience travel-friendly and offers a versatile option for streaming, listening, remote working and more."
Built-in webOS
The 27-inch TV features a touchscreen that can be used to play games in addition to watching video and listening to music. LG advertises Dolby Vision and Atmos support but the hardware cannot deliver Dolby Vision HDR picture quality as seen on OLED TVs including LG's own.
The screen can be tilted, rotated, raised and lowered.

The TV also features webOS and AirPlay. WebOS provides access to LG's suite of local and international apps that are also available on normal LG TVs including Apple Music, Disney+, Max, and Netflix.
The TV will be available later this month starting in the US for $1000 from lg.com.
