At IFA 2023, Samsung has confirmed that its first TVs with WOLED panels from LG Display are coming to Europe, starting at 3500 Euro. The S91C is Samsung's first 83-inch model.
Update: The 77-inch S89C has also appeared on Best Buy's US website for $3600.
The 83-inch was launched earlier this year in the US while the 77-inch has not been formally announced – only rumored. Samsung is not exactly making a big deal out of it at IFA in Berlin either, as neither of the two OLED TVs were mentioned in any of the company's press releases.
This is perhaps understandable considering the nature of the case: Samsung TVs with WOLED panels from arch rival LG Display.
Nevertheless, the TVs are coming to Europe, Samsung Germany confirmed to German magazine HiFi.de. The 83-inch WOLED will be known as S91C while the 77-inch WOLED will be known as S89C. The latter is already listed on some of Samsung's regional websites in Europe including Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Starting at 3500 Euro
HiFi.de was also able to get suggested retail prices out of Samsung Germany. The 77-inch S89C will cost 3500 Euro while the 83-inch S91C will cost 5000 Euro.
The two 4K WOLED models come with all of Samsung's usual features including Tizen with the Gaming Hub, HDMI 2.1 ports, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos, Filmmaker Mode, and more. Dolby Vision is not supported. They use the OLED EX panel – not MLA.

The launch of WOLED models from Samsung will intensify competition in the segment for large-sized OLED TVs, and hopefully help bring down consumer prices.
Samsung also offers its own QD-OLED panels in TVs ranging from 55 to 77 inches with the S95B, S90C and S95C ranges.
You cannot walk into a store and buy the new Samsung WOLED models in Europe yet but it should happen soon.
