Cloud gaming service Utomik will expand its presence to Vidaa OS, which powers Hisense, Toshiba, and some other TVs.
Utomik is already available on LG webOS to Samsung Tizen, where it lets you stream games over the internet, similar to how you stream Netflix.
- "With VIDAA’s support, we will be able to reach even more gamers through our cloud platform, making games even more accessible than they have ever been. Now you don't need a gaming system to play great games – just a controller, TV, and Utomik," said Doki Tops, Utomik CEO and Founder.

The company said that Utomik will be available soon as an app from the Vidaa OS's app store, and starting in 2024 it will be a preinstalled app.
Vidaa OS powers select TV models from Hisense, Toshiba, and more than 200 other, typically smaller, TV brands. There are "millions of active devices" running Vidaa, according to Hisense.
In Europe and North America
Utomik charges $9 per month for its Cloud plan that gives users access to over 100 streaming games on TVs and almost 1500 games that can be downloaded onto a PC. There is a free trial. Both wired and wireless Bluetooth controllers are supported.
Utomik is available in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Hungary, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, San Marino, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Hisense has not commented on plans for other cloud gaming apps such as Xbox.
