Apple today confirmed that Apple Vision Pro availability will expand to China, Japan and Singapore on June 28 and Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the UK next month.
Apple's pricey headset launched first in the US on February 2, 2024, for $3500. It is equipped with high-resolution micro-OLED screens and powered by the company's M2 processor.
In terms of home entertainment, Vision Pro delivers a private home cinema with an extremely big virtual screen. It revives 3D movies in 4K resolution for the first time, and is also the only way to experience High Frame Rate movies such as Avatar 2: The Way of Water at home. Additionally, Apple has launched its own Apple Immersive format with 180-degree videos in 8K.

Eight more countries
At WWDC 24, Apple announced that Vision Pro will expand to China, Japan, Singapore on June 24, and to Australia, Canada, France, Germany and United Kingdom on July 12.
This will bring availability up to a total of nine countries.
At WWDC 24, Apple also announced VisionOS 2 with a new travel mode for private home cinema for train travel in addition to airplane travel. The company said that the Apple TV app will also get an upgrade in visionOS 2 – we are chasing details.

In the US, Apple Vision Pro starts at $3500 for 256GB. There are also 512GB and 1TB versions available.
