The ninth Alien film arrives today in home theaters via streaming, and later on disc. It is available in up to 4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. FlatpanelsHD has compared prices.
Alien: Romulus, from Disney-owned 20th Century Studios, can now be experienced in the the best possible video format: 4K with High Dynamic Range (HDR).

It is available after a 60-day exclusive run in theaters, which appears to be the new normal for Disney after covid-19. The film grossed $350 million in theaters.
Where to watch
Alien: Romulus is available in up to 4K resolution with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos sound, but not everywhere. The bonus content is also limited to select partners.
The film is priced at $30 to buy or $25 to rent in an early rent window, or equivalent pricing in Europe and the UK. In Europe, however, it will not be available to rent until later (January 27, 2025, in some EU countries).
The movie will be released on UHD Blu-ray starting December 3. Like Deadpool & Wolverine from Disney, the disc version of Alien: Romulus will finally be in Dolby Vision, which Disney previously reserved for online releases. More about that here.
It was disclosed when Alien: Romulus will arrive on Disney+.
