Today, SkyShowtime launches its new Premium plan with a 50% lifetime offer. It offers movies and series 4K and HDR10. It has also added frame rate matching but there are HDR issues.
The new Premium plan offers at least 70 titles in 4K, some with HDR10, according to FlatpanelsHD's count. The titles are listed in the table below but may not be exhaustive as SkyShowtime has not released a full list.
The 4K library includes movies such as Indiana Jones, Mission: Impossible, Jurassic Park/World, Fast & Furious, Star Trek, Oppenheimer, Shrek and Back to the Future as well as series like Yellowstone and Billions.
Other 4K-mastered movies remain unavailable in 4K on SkyShowtime.

HDR works, but...

Frame rate matching works
On the other hand, frame rate matching now works as intended. FlatpanelsHD tested it with Apple TV 4K, which is currently the only media player to support frame rate matching across streaming services. Frame rate matching is required for judder-free video playback.
When playback starts, the SkyShowtime app automatically switches to 23.976Hz output, matching the 23.976fps format of most movies and series. The app then switches back to 50Hz or 60Hz, depending on your video settings, after playback ends.
In other words, frame rate matching is finally functional on SkyShowtime – two years after launch.
4K streaming but no Dolby Atmos
With movies like Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning and Gladiator, SkyShowtime streams in 4K with an average video bitrate of 15 Mbps, peaking at 25 Mbps.
However, Dolby Atmos is still missing. Some titles are available in 5.1 surround but many are limited to stereo audio. Currently, there are no indications that SkyShowtime will add Dolby Atmos.
Overall, this is a positive step from SkyShowtime, though there is definitely still room for improvement.
