Following the launch of the Red Bull TV app on Apple Vision Pro, the app has now been updated across other platforms, featuring a fresh look and significant improvements to video playback.
Red Bull has been busy adding new 4K Dolby Vision content, with or without Dolby Atmos audio, as well as 3D content for playback on the Apple Vision Pro.
However, it is only now that you can fully enjoy this high-quality content on your TV, as the app has undergone a complete redesign, both inside and out.

In addition to the refreshed user interface, Red Bull has implemented automatic frame rate matching support. This feature currently works on Apple TV 4K, where Red Bull has switched to using Apple's standard video player.
This ensures that content plays back at 24Hz for 24fps content, 50Hz for 25fps content, and so on, eliminating video judder—particularly noticeable when watching Red Bull's fast-paced sports videos from different regions (e.g., America, Europe, etc.).

This is in addition to automatic dynamic range matching for switching between SDR and HDR (Dolby Vision).
Red Bull's 4K content streams at an average video bitrate of 10 Mbps, with peaks reaching up to 20 Mbps. Only the latest titles are available in 4K Dolby Vision, sometimes with Dolby Atmos audio, while older content is typically available in 1080p.
The Red Bull TV app is free to download and use and does not require a user profile.
