Streaming service Max has launched its app on Titan OS, now available on many 2024 Philips Smart TVs and new TV models from brands like JVC.

With the release of its 2024 LCD lineup and the OLED759, Philips transitioned from Google TV to Titan OS, an independent TV operating system. Watch this video introduction to Titan OS for more details.

Titan OS debuted with support for major streaming services like Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and Netflix, but lacked notable apps such as Apple TV and Max, along with regional services.

Max arrives on Titan OS

Max is now available on Philips TVs running Titan OS, with plans to expand to other Titan OS-powered TVs from JVC and additional brands. Max offers a wide range of popular titles, including Dune: Prophecy, Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The White Lotus, Succession, Euphoria and True Detective. - "We're thrilled to bring Max's world-class library to millions of homes across Europe, offering our users iconic franchises and premium entertainment. This partnership reinforces our commitment to creating the best TV experience. By leveraging our personalisation and discoverability features, we aim to connect Max's incredible offering with the right audiences," the company announced. Max content will also be highlighted on the Titan OS homescreen, which – like Fire TV, Google TV, Roku, webOS and Tizen – is monetized through ads.
