Philips has announced its 2025 OLED line-up. OLED950 and OLED910 both feature the new 4-layer panel and 4-sided Ambilight, while OLED810 and OLED760 are more affordable TVs.
Like LG and Panasonic, Philips is moving to the latest generation of WOLED and abandoning microlenses (MLA) in the process. These TVs will be available in sizes ranging from 55 to 77 inches across the 9-series models.
The new OLED panel is a significant improvement due to its new 4-layer structure – up from the previous 3 layers – with red, green and blue light sources. Also known as Primary RGB Tandem or Meta 3.0, it delivers up to 3700 nits peak brightness and 350 nits fullscreen brightness, 83% Rec.2020 colors, an ultra-low reflection filter that blocks 99% of on-screen reflections, and a 20% reduction in power consumption, according to Philips. Again, we do not expect the TVs to reach 3700 nits in calibrated picture mode due to the lower color temperature so we will hav to wait until we get our hands on a sample to say anything definitive.

Philips OLED950 and OLED910
In addition to the 4-layer panel, both OLED950 and OLED910 feature 4-sided Ambilight and an upgraded version of the company's video processor, the 9th Gen P5.
- "The new and more powerful 9th Gen P5 AI Dual Engine processor now includes new Adaptive Intelligence, an AI Adaptive Gamut Enhancer, a new Specular Highlight Enhancement feature, new AI Machine Learn Sharpness V3 system, a new V4 version of the AI Smart Bit Enhancement algorithm and the V4 version of the AI Perfect Reality feature," explained Philips.

In addition, the processor can recognize the type of content and make dynamic adjustments. A Specular Highlight feature can boost highlights in HDR content, while an AI Adaptive Gamut Enhancer can boost color in SDR sources without affecting skin tones. For those who prefer a picture true to the source, Filmmaker Mode is available.
OLED950 features a 70W 2.1 sound system with a bass driver supported by four passive radiators, while OLED910 features a Bowers & Wilkins 81W 3.1 sound system.
Both models run Google TV with Android 14 and feature an upgraded Game Bar that allows the user to make customizable enhancements to individual games, which will be saved for future play. It also includes options to zoom the minimap, move it to a different location on the screen and adjust its transparency.
Philips OLED810 and OLED760
In addition, Philips will launch OLED810 and OLED760 to succeed last year's OLED809 and OLED759, competing with OLED TVs such as LG's C and B ranges and Samsung's S90 and S85 series.
Available in May/June in sizes ranging from 42 to 77 inches with the less advanced OLED EX panels, OLED810 delivers up to 1500 nits peak brightness while OLED760 delivers up to 1000 nits. OLED810 still features the 9th Gen P5, while OLED760 uses a 7th Gen P5 AI processor, which includes some (AI Adaptive Intelligence, AI Adaptive Gamut) but not all of the new AI features.

These models feature 3-sided Ambilight, including all the features added to Ambilight over the years, such as white bias lighting plus ambient and game modes.
Like last year's OLED759, OLED760 runs Titan OS. The updated Game Bar 2.0 offers access to the Blacknut and Boosteroid cloud gaming services. The Titan OS models are built on a NovaTek chipset with four HDMI 2.1-bandwidth ports.
A new Moments app will be demonstrated in Barcelona later today during Philips' launch event. FlatpanelsHD will return with first impressions and more information on the new TVs later.
