We have had to wait a long time, but it is finally happening – with more to come later in 2025. David Fincher is best known for modern classics like Se7en, Fight Club, Panic Room and Zodiac.
Classic films stand the test of time and are worth rewatching, but many younger movie lovers have likely yet to discover these cinematic gems from the past.
David Fincher has directed some of the greatest thriller and crime films of all time, and they still hold up today, if you ask us.

Toward the end of 2024, Zodiac was released on UHD Blu-ray. In the US, it is also available digitally in 4K, though this release is still pending in some other regions.
So far in 2025, we have gotten Se7en and Panic Room, along with a new 4K release of The Social Network. All three are available digitally. Se7en is already out on UHD Blu-ray in most regions, while the other two will be released in March outside the US.
Later in 2025, Fight Club will be released in 4K. A home release date is yet to be announced.

What about Fincher's other films?
Gone Girl has been available digitally in 4K for years, but there is still no UHD Blu-ray release. A 4K master exists for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, though it has never been released in any home format.
David Fincher's newer films, The Killer and Mank, were both produced in collaboration with Netflix and can be streamed on the platform in 4K.
There have been no reports of a 4K release for The Game.
It is worth noting that several of these titles have been upscaled from a 2K digital intermediate to 4K (check FlatpanelsHD's 4K movie database), but they still benefit from a higher bitrate and up to Dolby Vision HDR. Some of them also feature Dolby Atmos audio.
