The display maker claims to have developed the world's first mobile, tablet, notebook and TV panels using inkjet-printed OLED technology.
China's TCL CSOT is heading to SID Display Week 2025 with a strong focus on inkjet-printed OLED displays, a technology it recently claimed to have achieved breakthroughs in.
TCL CSOT has a full line-up of these printed OLED displays, ranging from a 6.5-inch smartphone panel to a 65-inch TV panel.
A full range of printed OLEDs
The 6.5-inch smartphone panel features a true RGB sub-pixel layout, with 326 PPI – equivalent to 460 PPI in Pentile – and a 99% DCI-P3 color gamut. It also offers true blacks and an ultra-fast 0.1ms response time.
The OLED panels for tablets and notebooks are both 14 inches, with resolutions of 1920x1200 and '2.8K', respectively. Again, both have true RGB pixels. The notebook display is the first printed OLED panel to utilize an oxide backplane, enabling lower power consumption and faster response.
A 27-inch 4K OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate is intended for PC monitors. It was also on display at CES in January and FlatpanelsHD shared our first impressions here.
Finally, TCL CSOT has a 65-inch printed OLED panel for TVs, although no specific details have been disclosed at this time.

The company began small-scale production of inkjet-printed OLED panels last year and plans to scale up with more sizes and models throughout 2025. However, it still has not provided a timeline for when inkjet-printed OLED TVs might become available.
- "With a full-spectrum portfolio that includes smartphones, tablets, laptops, rollable displays, and TVs, TCL CSOT has become the first manufacturer to commercialize a complete family bucket of IJP OLED products," said TCL CSOT. "This full-category lineup demonstrates the company’s unmatched capabilities in scaling IJP OLED across all mainstream form factors and advancing both its industrialization and ecosystem development."
