LG's 2025 OLED TVs are now available in the US, the UK, the EU and other regions. G5 is the first to feature RGB Tandem OLED technology.
Following an early launch in the US, all three of LG's main OLED TV ranges – B5, C5 and G5 – are now widely available.
LG retains its familiar model structure (for possibly one last year), but has added a 48-inch model the G5. C5 still offers the widest range of sizes; from 42 to 83 inches. B5 will come in both 83 and 48 inches for the first time. No new 8K OLED TVs have been announced.
G5 and upcoming M5 introduce LG's new 4-layer OLED panel, also known as RGB Tandem. M5 is a variant of the G5 that features a wireless connection box. Unlike last year’s G4 with MLA (Micro Lens Array), the new RGB Tandem OLED panel eliminates microlenses, marking a shift in LG's panel technology. C5 uses the standard OLED panel but, according to LG, is now slightly brighter than before.

Cheaper, larger OLED TVs
With all four 2025 OLED ranges offering an 83-inch option, large OLED TVs will become more affordable this year. Samsung is also stepping up its focus on 83-inch models, which are now available across its three OLED TV ranges.
Industry sources have told FlatpanelsHD that this focus on larger panel sizes is expected to reduce production costs for 77- and 83-inch OLED panels in 2025 and 2026, a necessary move to remain competitive with large miniLED LCD TVs.
The exception remains 97-inch OLED, which remains disproportionately expensive. The new 97-inch G5 is now available in North America and will launch in Europe later.

LG's 2025 OLED TVs ship with webOS 25 and include a promise of five years of support; four webOS upgrades. There is a new simplified remote control and new AI-powered audio features. G5 supports refresh rates up to 165Hz, while the B5 – like the B4 before it – finally offers four HDMI 2.1 ports.
