Philips has announced pricing in Europe and the UK for its 2025 OLED and LCD TVs, significantly undercutting OLED rivals – especially in the UK.
Back in January, we learned that TV makers are moving away from MLA OLED in favor of the new 4-layer RGB Tandem OLED panel. Since MLA was known for its high cost, we were curious to see how the shift would affect pricing.
Early indications suggested that RGB Tandem OLED would launch at roughly the same or slightly lower prices. Now, Philips brings even more encouraging news.
Cheaper Philips OLED TVs
Philips has announced pricing in euro and pounds for its 2025 OLED TVs, with the 65-inch OLED910 (RGB Tandem OLED) starting at £2200, which is far below the £3300 starting price of LG G5 (RGB Tandem OLED) and £3400 for Samsung S95F (QD-OLED).
We still do not know the euro price for the OLED910, but Philips’ step-down model, OLED810, which does not feature the new panel technology, is similarly priced lower than competing models like the Samsung S90F and LG C5.

Philips’ most affordable OLED range in 2025 is OLED760, which uses Titan OS instead of Google TV. The 55-inch version starts at £1200 in the UK and €1800 in Europe.

Philips also announced pricing for some of its new miniLED LCD models.
Launching soon
With its aggressive pricing, Philips is likely to attract attention when it kicks off the launch later this month, with broader availability in July and August. The OLED9 ranges will follow a little later, likely starting in September.
There is more good news. According to FlatpanelsHD's industry sources, larger OLED sizes – 77 to 83 inches– will become more affordable in 2025, driven by increased production at panel maker LG Display, which lowers cost per panel. We are already seeing this reflected in launch prices, but expect even greater deals later this year.
