Thunderbolts* The New Avengers marks the 36th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and serves as the final film in what Marvel calls Phase 5. In addition, Marvel has released multiple series on Disney+.
The movie has received mixed reviews and earned $380 million at the global box office. It is arriving on streaming roughly 60 days after its exclusive theatrical debut.
Marvel's cinematic journey continues at the end of July with The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which launches Phase 6.
Where to watch it
Before Thunderbolts* becomes available on Disney+ – expected later this year at an unspecified date – you can buy it through VOD platforms such as Apple TV, Fandango and Rakuten.
The film is available to stream in up to 4K resolution with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio. However, not all providers offer the premium video and audio experience.
Thunderbolts* will be available on UHD Blu-ray starting July 29.
