The new 97-inch version of Loewe's high-end Stellar OLED TV will cost about the same as LG's 97-inch OLED TV.
Loewe introduced its Stellar range of MLA OLED TVs in mid-2024, originally spanning 42 to 83 inches.
The new 97-inch model retains the same design with a concrete back, aluminum frame and a 'magic.light' ambient light bar, just bigger in size. However, there are some key differences in terms of technology.
Not MLA OLED, but supports Dolby Vision
Unlike the smaller models, the 97-inch version does not use LG Display's MLA OLED panel (or the newer RGB Tandem OLED panel), simply because these panels do not exist in 97-inch size.
Instead, it is equipped with the standard WOLED (OLED EX) panel.

Another key difference is that the 97-inch version runs Hisense's Vidaa OS instead of Samsung's Tizen OS. As a result, it supports Dolby Vision – again unlike the smaller versions. From the user interface there is direct access to streaming services such as Apple TV+, Disney+, Netflix and more.
The TV also features 4K resolution, up to 1100 nits peak brightness, multi-HDR support, a powerful 300W sound system, Dolby Atmos, and an Art Mode.
Same price as LG's 97-inch OLED
This is Loewe's largest TV ever – not just its largest OLED – and it is assembled in Kronach, Germany. It will be available starting this month in Europe and select other regions.
Loewe says the 97-inch Stellar will be priced at 30,000 Euro, matching the price of LG's 97-inch OLED models in Europe. While Loewe is typically associated with premium pricing, the high cost here mainly reflects the still very high production costs of 97-inch OLED panels.
