Sony's new high-end TV, the Bravia 8 II, features an upgraded QD-OLED panel. Along with the Bravia 5 and Bravia 3, it is now available in the US, the UK and elsewhere.
After the announcement in April, the TVs are now available to buy.
Bravia 3, which was already available in the US, is expanding to Europe and other regions as a budget-friendly LCD TV replacing X75WL. Bravia 5 with miniLED replaces X90L in the upper mid-range segment. Bravia 8 II replaces A95L as the QD-OLED flagship – our current reference TV.

Available now alongside several 2024 TVs
Sony has only three new TV ranges for 2025 since a lot of last year's models will remain available. This includes Bravia 9, Bravia 8, Bravia 7, and X85L, as well as the 77-inch A95L (Bravia 8 II is not available in 77 inches).
Bravia 8 II is positioned to compete with other flagship QD-OLED or RGB Tandem OLED TVs such as Samsung S95F, LG G5, Panasonic Z95B and Philips OLED910. Sony has lowered the launch price in many regions, making Bravia 8 II more competitive. FlatpanelsHD will publish a full review later.
