At IFA 2025, Acer is unveiling its fastest monitor to date, X27U F8, with support for up to 720Hz. Acer is also introducing a new 'amadana' line of minimalist monitors.
After Asus recently introduced its first two RGB Tandem OLED monitors, it is now Acer's turn.
Acer does not explicitly state that its new 27-inch X27U F8 uses the new RGB Tandem OLED panel, but it does, since only this panel type currently supports refresh rates of 540Hz and 720Hz – surpassing the 500Hz QD-OLED monitors launched recently.
- "The Predator X27U F8 delivers stellar gameplay featuring a 26.5-inch OLED display with a WQHD (2560x1440) resolution and an astounding 720 Hz refresh rate. Thanks to Dynamic Frequency Resolution (DFR), the monitor can switch between WQHD at 540 Hz and 1280x720 at 720 Hz, optimizing performance for different gaming scenarios," said Acer.
Acer did not comment on pricing but the company's monitors are typically less expensive that those from Asus, for example. Update: It will arrive in Q1 2026 for $1300.

Acer's 'amadana' monitors
Acer also introduced its first monitors under the amadana brand, which it acquired late last year through the acquisition of the Japanese design firm.
The 16-inch 16APM1QJ is a portable monitor with an IPS LCD panel, while the 27-inch 27ART0 P1 is a standard 27-inch IPS LCD monitor with 144Hz refresh. Most notable, however, are their bright, minimalist designs.

Acer CE270U Z
In addition, Acer announced the 27-inch CE270U Z, an OLED monitor with 2560x1440 resolution and 280Hz refresh rate. Update: This is likely QD-OLED.
Lastly, Acer presented the Nitro XV275K V6, Nitro XV273U W1, Nitro XV270X, and Nitro XZ403CKR for casual gamers. These are all traditional LCD monitors, with the XZ403CKR being a 40-inch curved 5K display.
