AmbiScape is Philips' new feature that lets you sync additional smart lights, including Hue, Ikea, Wiz and Nanoleaf, with your Ambilight TV.
After years of supporting Ambilight+Hue integration, Philips discontinued it with the launch of its 2023 models, leaving users without a way to extend the Ambilight mood lighting beyond the TV.
That now appears to have been temporary, as Philips is preparing to roll out the new AmbiScape feature.
- "AmbiScape extends the TV's Ambilight to the room environment by using your smart bulbs from third-party providers," reads Philips' description.
What is AmbiScape?
Philips has yet to make an official announcement, but AmbiScape is already included in the latest firmware for the company's Titan OS-based OLED and LCD TVs, according to the Toengel blog.
Supported models include the Philips OLED760 (OLED770), MLED950, MLED910 (MLED920) and PUS9000 – all 2025 models. The Android-based high-end OLED TVs do not appear to be supported.

AmbiScape is built on the open Matter smart home standard, meaning that compatibility is not limited to Philips Hue bulbs. It is confirmed to work with Ikea, Wiz, Osram and Nanoleaf. Eee the table below.
It remains unclear whether the feature is fully baked in the initial firmware but we expect to hear more about AmbiScape with the launch of Philips' 2026 lineup.
