The popular music video game Just Dance Now is coming to LG Smart TVs, no console or separate controller required. LG's remote will double as the motion controller.
The announcement was made in a joint press release by LG Electronics and Ubisoft, with the game rolling out sequentially on LG TVs starting December 2025 in North America and Europe.
- "Our collaboration with LG Electronics is a great way for more people to play Just Dance Now through the LG webOS smart TV platform," said Amelie Louvet, Just Dance Brand Director, Ubisoft Paris Studio. "With Just Dance Now, LG Smart TVs are now a dynamic space for families and friends to turn their living room into a dancefloor and move to the world’s biggest hits."
No console required
The launch is part of LG's efforts to offer games on its webOS Smart TV platform without the user needing a physical game console such as PlayStation or Xbox.
LG's webOS already offers access to various cloud gaming apps including Xbox and GeForce Now.
Just Dance Now will work directly on LG Smart TVs running webOS 22 or later through the the LG Gaming Portal. User will be able to play for free for a limited time each day, but here are also subscription plans or song packs available.

LG's motion controller
The party trick is that LG's motion-enabled 'Magic Remote', which already lets the user control the TV menus via hand motion, can be used as the controller to register your dance moves.
Normally, Just Dance Now requires a separate controller or a smartphone as the motion sensor.
More than 135 million people play Just Dance Now worldwide.
