Panasonic 2024 and 2025 TVs have just gained support for Bluetooth Auracast to let you broadcast TV audio to essentially an unlimited number of headphones simultaneously.
Bluetooth Auracast was announced in 2022 as a way to broadcast one or more audio steams from a transmitting device, for example a TV, to many receiving devices, for example headphones and earphones.
Auracast was added to Samsung's high-end TVs in 2023 and LG OLED TVs in 2025.
Auracast in Panasonic TVs
Now, Panasonic is adding Auracast support. The Japanese brand is not reserving it to its latest TVs, rolling out support to select 2025 and 2024 models with the hardware required.
- "Auracast allows users to connect an unlimited number of Bluetooth and Auracast-enabled headphones to their Panasonic TV, the audio from which will then be transmitted to all connected devices simultaneously," said Panasonic.
The Bluetooth headphones must also support Auracast. Panasonic pointed to its own Technics EAH-AZ100 wireless earbuds as an option.
The firmware update is rolling out now to the following Panasonic TV models. Check your TV's update menu.
