Warner Bros may soon be swallowed by Netflix, but you can still expect a strong slate of 4K catalog releases next year. But what happens in 2027?
The movies are coming to UHD Blu-ray and most likely streaming as well, as confirmed by Warner's Korean distributor via The Digital Bits.
According to Bill Hunt of The Digital Bits, this is likely not the complete 2026 lineup, so more titles could be added later.
Gravity, Gone with the Wind, more
There are several notable movies on the list, with the oldest title dating back to 1939. Warner Bros is actively restoring its treasure trove of movies and has even rescanned some titles in 8K resolution.
Warner movies confirmed for 4K release in 2026 are:
- Gravity (2013)
- Ben-Hur (1959)
- Gone with the Wind (1939)
- Interview with the Vampire (1994)
- Magnolia (1999)
- All the President's Men (1976)
- Eraser (1996)
- Mars Attacks! (1996)
Gravity in particular has been long awaited and should look stunning in HDR, which director Alfonso Cuarón has reportedly approved.
It is also great news to see classics like
Gone with the Wind and
Ben-Hur included. Release timings for the upcoming titles will be confirmed later.

What happens in 2027 and beyond?
Netflix will acquire Warner Bros (and HBO), with the mega-deal closing as early as next year, giving Netflix control over one of the most iconic Hollywood film studios.
This has led many to worry about the future of Warner's theatrical and disc releases. While Netflix has committed to theatrical releases for now, it has not commented on plans for physical media. Netflix started as a distributor of physical media but
pulled out in 2023 after 25 years.
Warner's 2026 slate is already locked, so the question is: What happens in 2027 and beyond to UHD Blu-ray and 4K VOD releases?
