Samsung is launching new soundbars in 2026 as well as a 3.1.1-channel speaker that can be paired wirelessly with Samsung TVs to create wider stereo or surround sound.
Samsung tried this in 2024 with the Music Frame, but it was not a success.
Now the company is trying again with the Music Studio 7. It can stand alone as a music speaker, but multiple units can also be paired with a compatible Samsung TV. This brings Samsung a step closer to the Sonos concept.

3.1.1-channel speaker
Samsung's Music Studio 7 (LS70H) is a 3.1.1-channel speaker system, meaning it has front, left and right channels plus an up-firing unit. Multiple units can be used for Dolby Atmos music.
The speakers can be paired wirelessly to compatible Samsung TVs via the Q-Symphony system. This allows the TV's built-in speakers to work together with the external speakers.

Samsung says up to five speakers can be connected to a compatible TV, after which the setup analyzes the room layout to optimize sound distribution. Music Studio 7 can, for example, create wider stereo or full surround sound, according to Samsung.
- "In 2026, Samsung Q-Symphony becomes even more adaptive, enabling compatible Samsung TVs, soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers to operate as a unified sound ecosystem. Samsung Q-Symphony now allows users to pair up to five sound devices with a Samsung TV. The feature can also automatically adjust sound based on your room, helping calibrate for optimal performance The result is clear dialogue and detailed surround sound, making you feel like you are in the middle of the scene," says Samsung.
A smaller Music Studio 5 (LS50H) will also be released, though it has not been confirmed if it can also connect to TVs.
Samsung's 2026 soundbars
This year's flagship soundbar model is the HW-Q990H, replacing HW-Q990F. The new version does not bring major changes but adds an Auto Volume feature, keeping volume consistent across sources.
It is an 11.1.4-channel system, where the soundbar is 7.0.2 and the rear speakers are 4.0.2. There is a separate 8-inch subwoofer.
Additionally, Samsung will introduce a refreshed all-in-one soundbar called HW-QS90H. This has a built-in woofer instead of a separate subwoofer. It is a 7.1.2-channel system that can stand on a table or be wall-mounted, with a built-in gyro sensor that adjusts the speaker functions depending on placement.
