At CES 2026, Samsung has today unveiled the highlights of its 2026 TV lineup with more focus on RGB LED LCD, OLED and The Frame, and less focus on 8K.
As previously announced, Samsung will expand its 'Micro RGB'-backlit LCD TV lineup beyond the 115-inch MR95F introduced in 2025.
More series are coming in 2026 in a wide range of sizes, even including models in 55 and 65 inches:
- R95H will be available in 130, 85, 75 and 65 inches. This model is 'Wireless One Connect Ready', meaning all ports are on the TV itself, but you can add an optional Wireless One Connect box to connect external devices. It features the Glare Free coating seen on the existing S95F and QN90F, and a new Zero Gap Wall Mount will be offered for this model.
- R85H will be available in 100, 98, 85, 75, 65 and 55 inches, according to Samsung, although the 100- and 98-inch listings are likely incorrect, we suspect it will be either 100 or 98.
All Micro RGB models use a new processor, 'Micro RGB AI Engine Pro', which enables backlight-specific features such as RGB local dimming. These models promise 100% BT.2020 coverage. They will all support the new HDR10+ Advanced format.

Even more big LCD TVs
Several ultra-large LCD TVs will carry over into 2026, including the 115-inch MR95F and the 115-inch and 98-inch QN90F.
New additions include the 98-inch QN990H (8K), 100-inch R85H, 100-inch QN80H, 98-inch The Frame, 100-inch M90H and 98-inch U9000H.
2026 'Neo QLED' LCD TVs
Samsung provided very little detail on its upcoming 'Neo QLED' range of LCD TVs. Only two models were mentioned:
- QN80H will feature more dimming zones than its predecessor (QN80F), according to Samsung.
- QN70H will offer improved gaming performance by using Dual Line Gate (DLG) to achieve up to 288Hz. This comes at the cost of half the vertical resolution.
Samsung's once-popular QN90 series – QN90F in 2025 – will not receive a direct successor. In terms of positioning, R85H will effectively take over its slot in the 2026 lineup.
2026 Samsung OLED TVs
Samsung also shared limited information about its 2026 OLED models. Three new entries are confirmed, both supporting refresh rates up to 165Hz:
- S99H (QD-OLED): Introduces a metal bezel (Europe). This is an unusual choice, as bezels have largely disappeared from modern TVs. It also has the Wireless One Connect box and is up to 35% brighter than last year's QD-OLED flagship.
- S95H (QD-OLED): Introduces a metal bezel (USA). Succeeds last year's S95F and is up to 35% brighter. It is Wireless One Connect Ready and supports the Zero Gap Wall Mount.
- S90H: This model will gain the anti-glare coating and be 15% brighter (brighter than what was not mentioned, we assume the S90F).

The Frame in 2026
Samsung's art-focused LCD TV series remains a strong performer. Last year's The Frame Pro, featuring edge-lit miniLED backlighting and Wireless One Connect, will be expanded with a new 55-inch option alongside the existing 85, 75 and 65-inch models.
A new The Frame (Built-in) model, featuring 'QLED' backlighting but no One Connect Box, will be offered in 55, 65, 75, 85 and 98 inches. The 98-inch version will ship with a bezel included in the box.
The standard The Frame ('QLED' with One Connect Box) will be limited to 50 and 43 inches going forward.
The lineup described above applies to the US market. The EU lineup will differ, most notably the 98-inch version will not be available in Europe.
Picture and sound AI features
Features like 4K AI Upscaling, Auto HDR Remastering, Adaptive Sound and AI Customization Mode are being rolled out to more models. In addition, two new features are coming: AI Sound Controller lets you fine-tune the audio mix by adjusting voice, music and effects separately.
There is also AI Soccer Mode, designed to enhance picture and sound specifically for soccer. It promises to enhance but not oversaturate colors, and it will boost the stadium atmosphere and make commentary clearer.
AI Soccer Mode will be available in three tiers:
- AI Soccer Mode Pro (R90H and up): Auto / Off. In Auto, the TV performs real-time soccer recognition, image and sound analysis and enhancement.
- AI Soccer Mode (M80H and up): On/Off. It enhances color and audio based on real-time analysis.
- Soccer Mode (U8000H and up): On/Off. It will enhance color and sound.
Vision AI Companion
Last year, Samsung has grouped several of its AI features under the Vision AI Companion banner and some new features will be coming in 2026: alongside Bixby and Copilot, Perplexity will also be supported.
Samsung's Now Brief feature, already available on smartphones, is coming to TVs as well. The TV will recognize your voice, greet you personally, and present a customized dashboard with information tailored to you. Google Photos support is
also on the way.
The 2026 models will also support Eclipsa Audio in addition to Dolby Atmos. They are all powered by Samsung's Tizen OS.
The Freestyle+ projector
Samsung's portable projector is getting a successor in the form of The Freestyle+, which promises to be twice as bright. Its key new feature is AI Optiscreen. Beyond automatic keystone correction, autofocus and screen adaptation, the projector can now project into a corner of the room, with parts of the image landing on two different walls, while dynamically correcting the geometry to maintain a normal rectangular image.
An Eye Protection Mode dims the projection when someone passes in front of the lens. The Freestyle+ will also support Adaptive Picture, Adaptive Sound and Q-Symphony.
