At CES 2026, Acer unveiled four new monitors, including a 27-inch model with 1000Hz support, a 34-inch QD-OLED, and a 32-inch 6K LCD monitor.
Acer's new 27-inch XB273U F6 joins previously announced monitors that will officially break the 1000Hz barrier this year. Samsung will launch a 1040Hz LCD monitor.
While 1000Hz is a milestone, perhaps we should not celebrate until OLED reaches it, as current 720Hz OLED monitors are still expected to outperform 1000Hz LCD monitors in motion clarity due to OLED's more than 50 times faster response time.
Acer's 27-inch monitor supports 1000Hz at 720p or 500Hz at its native 1440p resolution. It features an IPS LCD panel with 95% DCI-P3 color, low 2000:1 contrast, 350 nits brightness and two HDMI 2.1 ports plus DisplayPort 1.4.

QD-OLED, but is it V-Stripe?
Acer's X34 F3 gaming monitor features a 34-inch curved QD-OLED panel with 360Hz refresh rate, 1440p ultrawide resolution, extremely fast 0.03ms response time, 500 nits peak brightness and very high contrast.
This sounds a lot like Samsung Display's new QD-OLED panel with 'V-Stripe' pixels for improved text clarity, but Acer did confirm or deny at this time – we are chasing confirmation.

5K and 6K LCD monitors
Acer also announced a professional 32-inch PE320QX with IPS LCD, 6016x3384 (6K) resolution, 60Hz and 98% DCI-P3. It is very similar to the previously announced PE320QXT, but now comes without a touchscreen.

Another high-resolution IPS LCD is Acer's 27-inch XV270X P with 5K resolution. This one, however, is designed for gaming, with support for 165Hz at 5K or 330Hz at 1440p via HDMI 2.1. It enables high-resolution gaming but does not deliver HDR, despite Acer's claims.
Acer's 2026 monitors will launch in Q3 with the following prices, in order of appearance in this article: 900, 1200, 1500 and 900 Euro.
