Netflix reveals a massive 2026 slate of series and movies

Highlights include The Rip, Enola Holmes 3, Narnia, 3 Body Problem, Man on Fire and The Boroughs.

Two of Netflix's biggest franchises, Stranger Things and Squid Game, wrapped up in 2025.

However, 2026 will see the animated series Stranger Things: Tales From '85, alongside a new series from the Duffer Brothers, The Boroughs – once again with monsters.


Lots of series, fewer movies
In the competition with Amazon, Apple, Disney and others, Netflix will still have to compete with HBO Max throughout the year, as the acquisition is not expected to go through until late 2026 at the earliest. Among the contenders, Netflix will by far have the most premieres, with new content arriving several times a week on average.

The streaming service also highlighted titles such as Enola Holmes 3, Beef season 2, a new Man on Fire series, the sci-fi movie War Machine, One Piece season 2, a new Little House on the Prairie series, the animated series Alley Cats by Ricky Gervais, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, as well as the final season of The Witcher.

Spielberg is making a Dinosaurs documentary.


The blockbuster Narnia
Netflix's biggest movie of 2026 may be Greta Gerwig's Narnia, which will debut on streaming in December, two weeks after an exclusive theatrical release in IMAX. There is very little information available so far and no images.

The exclusive deal with IMAX is something other members of the industry have criticized in strong terms as undermining cinema.

Additional titles will be confirmed by Netflix later in the year, but here are the titles and dates confirmed so far.
