At CES 2026, SVS announced its entry into the soundbar market with its first R|Evolution soundbar solutions, featuring a powerful subwoofer and Dolby Atmos virtualization.
US-based SVS is known for its high-performance home audio and deep bass, so it is surprising to see the brand expand to the soundbar form factor, which offers less cabinet space for powerful units – a category from which it has traditionally distanced itself.
The launch follows other traditional AV brands entering the soundbar segment, most recently KEF with the XIO and Marshall with the Heston 120.
The SVS R|Evolution soundbar
SVS's first R|Evolution Soundbar is a 3.1-channel system with nine drivers. It can be expanded to a 5.1 or 5.2 (dual subwoofer) setup with wireless rear speakers (SVS R|Evolution Wireless Surround Speakers).
The soundbar delivers 180W total power across the left, right and center channels. It comes standard with a wireless 12-inch, 600W subwoofer and can be connected to the TV via HDMI eARC.

Atmos but no up-firing units
It supports Dolby Atmos virtualization, but there are no up-firing units in the soundbar or rear speakers. It also features Dolby's dialogue enhancement system.
While the soundbar form factor is optimized for movies, series and TV, and not ideal for music, it still supports WiFi, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth and 24-bit / 96 kHz high-resolution audio, according to the company.
There is no word on pricing yet. SVS said it aims for a late Q2 2026 launch.
