First Netflix and Disney. Now Apple TV – formerly Apple TV+ – has has revealed its highlights for 2026.

Major series on the slate

On the list are returning, popular series such as Shrinking, which is premiered now weekly with season 3. Ted Lasso returns this summer, now as coach of a women's team, while For All Mankind gets a fifth season in March. Cape Fear will be revived as a series, once again from Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese. There is still no news on premiere dates for the new seasons of Silo and Severance. We are also awaiting information on the Neuromancer series. In related news, Apple has announced that it will exclusively produce series/movies based on the Cosmere fantasy books.

No blockbuster movies – so far

The movie lineup is dominated by relatively smaller titles, including the comedy Outcome starring Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz, and Mayday with Ryan Reynolds. Also on the slate are the action movie Matchbox The Movie starring John Cena and the drama Way of the Warrior Kid with Chris Pratt. There are no major theatrical releases on the list on the scale of F1 The Movie. Such titles are typically announced separately, but Apple's theatrical strategy remains unclear after it was scaled back significantly when Napoleon and Killers of the Flower Moon failed to meet expectations at the box office.
