If you are waiting for smaller OLED monitors, Samsung is now rumored to launch the first 24-inch QD-OLED next year, alongside a new high-resolution 39-inch QD-OLED.
The rumor comes from Chinese outlet ChannelGate, which previously correctly predicted Samsung's 32" G80SH QD-OLED monitor for 2026.
However, the jury is still out on ChannelGate's claim that Samsung will launch its first WOLED-based monitor in mid-2026, so its credibility cannot yet be fully determined.
First 24" OLED monitor
ChannelGate now reports that Samsung is planning to launch the first 24-inch OLED monitor in 2027, specifically a QD-OLED. It is also reportedly working on a 39-inch QD-OLED to compete with LG's 39-inch WOLED.
The smallest OLED monitor size today is 27 inches, available as both WOLED and QD-OLED – and soon RGB OLED.
As for this year, 2026, the report claims that Samsung's first RGB-stripe panel at 34 inches will have resolution higher than 4K.

| ChannelGate's predictions (machine translated):
2026:
Emissive materials will remain unchanged, continuing with GEN2 and GEN3. Based on the existing lineup of 27-inch QHD/UHD, 31.5-inch UHD, 34-inch Q, and 49-inch DQ products, a new 34-inch model with higher-than-UHD resolution will be added. This panel will adopt an RGB stripe layout (110 PPI). At the same time, refresh rates for UHD panels will be increased to 240Hz.
Brightness will continue at T**0 levels, while panel surface treatment technology will be upgraded to AR 3.0 / AGLR.
2027:
Emissive materials will be upgraded to GEN4, alongside internal structural improvements toward Q0E specifications. New monitor sizes of 24-inch and 39-inch are planned. Refresh rate technology will advance to UHD 240Hz with DLG, while brightness is planned to primarily target TB600. |
