Sony is seemingly preparing to launch a new range of more affordable 48 to 83-inch OLED TVs, named Bravia 6 (A60), featuring four HDMI 2.1 ports.
The launch of Sony's first 'True RGB' LCD models, Bravia 7 II and Bravia 9 II, has led some to question whether the Japanese TV maker is stepping back from OLED TVs.
Sony will continue to sell the 2025 Bravia 8 II (QD-OLED) and 2024 Bravia 8 (WOLED) in 2026, but no new 2026 OLED models were announced at last month's launch event.
Bravia 6 OLED TVs?
Details of a new Bravia 6 OLED range have now surfaced, highlighted High Def News on X and first spotted by AVS Forum user 845008460, who notes that the models have been registered in databases across multiple countries.
In addition, Bravia 6 is listed on Sony's own websites as compatible with a specific wall-mount bracket, a listing FlatpanelsHD has confirmed.
The Bravia 6 name confirms that these will be more affordable than the current Bravia 8, which competes with LG's C-series and Samsung's S90-series OLED TVs. This may indicate Sony will use the new OLED SE panel to match LG's B-series and Samsung's S85-series, although this remains speculation.
It is not uncommon to see these types of leaks for Sony TVs. For example, we first heard about the Bravia 7 II and Bravia 9 II both using RGB LED in August 2025, nine months before the official launch.

Four HDMI 2.1 ports
Unlike Sony's new flagship Bravia 9 II, which is limited to two HDMI 2.1 ports, Bravia 6 is reportedly based on MediaTek's Pentonic 800 chip with four HDMI 2.1 ports.
According to the listings, Bravia 6 (A60) will be available in 48, 55, 65, 77 and 83-inch sizes, confirming WOLED panels of some kind.
We are still treating this as a rumor, and there is no guarantee Sony will launch Bravia 6, even though it appears likely. The company has not confirmed – or even hinted at – the existence of a Bravia 6 range.
