TCL unveils two additional 32" and 27" OLED monitors

After recently launching its first OLED monitor in markets outside China, TCL has unveiled two new OLED monitors in 32 and 27 inches.

These are second-generation OLED monitors from the Chinese manufacturer typically associated with miniLED LCD TVs.

The 32X3B and 27X3B – 'B' instead of the 'A' on the first generation – were unveiled in China in late July and are expected to debut in Western markets later.


Still a stunning design
32X3B and 27X3B closely resemble the existing 32X3A, featuring a stunning, slim design that looks like what OLED technology promised 15 years ago. It is ironic that TCL is the company bringing this vision to market.

Compared to 32X3A, 32X3B increases peak brightness from 1300 to 1500 nits and features an improved anti-reflective film. It still supports 4K at 240Hz or 1080p at 480Hz.

27X3B features 1440p resolution with up to 280Hz. It also promises 1500 nits peak brightness, 0.03ms response time and 10-bit color, pre-calibrated to a Delta E of less than 1. 


Still not printed RGB OLED
The monitors are based on a fourth-generation WOLED panel, most likely from LG Display, and not TCL CSOT's novel printed RGB OLED panels.

Both models have HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 ports as well as B&O audio technology. The 27X3B also includes a Black Frame Insertion (BFI) mode.

In China, 32X3B has launched for 6499 yuan ($950) and 27X3B priced at 3699 yuan ($550).
