Following the announcement of the first 25-inch WOLED made by LG Display, Samsung Display today announced its first 25-inch QD-OLED panel for gaming monitors.
Or 24.5 inches to be exact, which likely explains why the rumors earlier this year mistook it for a 24-inch panel. Either way, display makers are allowed to round up under industry conventions, so it will be marketed as a 25-inch QD-OLED.

As several global PC manufacturers unveiled plans at the event to launch new products featuring Samsung Display's 24.5-inch QD-OLED displays, Samsung Display will begin supplying 24.5-inch FHD QD-OLED displays in response to customer demand."
These are the smallest OLED monitor panels to date.
QD-OLED with RGB-stripe pixels
The 25-inch flat QD-OLED panel features 1920x1080 resolution and RGB-stripe pixels, unlike LG Display's 25-inch Tandem WOLED.
It supports a refresh rate of up to 560Hz and a 0.03ms response time, with HDR peak brightness of up to 1800 nits, 10-bit color and 99% DCI-P3 coverage. It also features the more effective matte coating, which helps preserve black levels in bright rooms.
Samsung Display said that several PC makers are planning to introduce monitors based on the panel, but so far only Asus has officially announced plans. Other likely candidates include MSI, Dell, Gigabyte and Samsung Electronics, but we will have to wait for confirmation. The first monitors are expected to launch in early 2027.
