W6 features LG's latest tandem panel and an external box to wirelessly transmits video and audio to the OLED panel – but not power. The TV is launching in 77 and 83 inches.
LG has the B, C, G and now also W series of OLED TVs. M has been discontinued.
Technically, W6 is almost identical to G6. The differences lie in the wireless box and the slimmer 9.9mm design, hence the 'wallpaper' nickname, although W6 is neither as thin nor as flexible as LG's original wallpaper OLED, which required professional installation using magnets.
W6 can now easily be wall-mounted by two people at home using hinges on the back that slot into a completely flat wall mount, which then clicks into place. It is demonstrated here.

Wallpaper OLED, revived
W6 is a TV that competitors currently cannot match in terms of design. However, the second-generation Tandem WOLED panel is the same one used in LG's own G6 and the Philips OLED911.
First announced in January at CES 2026, and after an early debut in the US, W6 is now becoming available in Europe and other markets around the world in 77 and 83 inches only. It is LG's most expensive OLED TV but the price difference to G6 is a lot more moderate than with LG's original W-series.
Other features include 4K resolution, 165Hz, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, webOS 26, built-in Google Cast and AirPlay 2 as well as four HDMI 2.1 ports. Speakers are built into the TV but the sound can be expanded wirelessly via Dolby FlexConnect or wired via HDMI eARC. There are also built-in features for displaying artwork when the TV is not in use.
