In addition to the US, Panasonic is now returning to Canada, initially by launching the 2026 Z85C OLED and W90C miniLED LCD TVs.
- "Panasonic TV, brought to the Canadian market by authorized business partner Skyworth USA, today announced its return to Canada with a new 2026 television lineup led by the Z85C OLED and W90C QD-Mini LED series," the company announced.
It is Panasonic's partnership with China's Skyworth that is making the return possible. The joint venture was announced in February 2026.
More to come
Panasonic will initially offer the Z85C and W90C in 55- and 65-inch sizes. The broader lineup will not be offered at this time, but expect to hear more from Panasonic in 2027.
The Z85C features the new OLED SE panel, which reaches up to 1000 nits, while the W90C features a matte VA LCD panel with a miniLED backlight. Both feature HDMI 2.1, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Google TV in Canada. Full specifications can be found in the TV Database in the table below.
- "In an already highly competitive market, we are very excited to bring back a trusted, high-quality brand with a strong Canadian following," said Terry Hatzis, Vice President of Sales, Canada, Skyworth USA. "Panasonic TV's longstanding reputation for picture quality and reliability gives our retail partners and Canadian consumers a brand that truly stands out and cuts through the noise."
