Titan OS continues to add streaming apps to its library. The SkyShowtime app is now available, following the recent launch of the Apple TV app.
Philips completed its transition from Google TV to Titan OS this year. The last leg of the transition took place with the launch of the 2026 models, with new OLED TVs also dropping Google TV after LCD models had previously switched to Titan OS.
Titan OS is a relatively new TV operating system that also runs on certain newer TV models from Sharp, which is likewise moving away from Google TV.

SkyShowtime for Titan OS
The SkyShowtime app is now rolling out to Titan OS in 22 European countries. If you have a Philips Smart TV with Titan OS, the app should already be available or appear during the week.
- "Bringing SkyShowtime to the Titan OS ecosystem is an important milestone in our mission to deliver the best European and international entertainment directly to viewers," says Jacinto Roca, CEO of Titan OS.
It was not confirmed if 4K, HDR and Dolby Atmos audio are supported in the SkyShowtime app for Titan OS. The streaming service supports the higher-quality formats on certain platforms with some movies and series.
Apps are still missing
During the initial rollout, one challenge has been Titan OS's lack of certain streaming apps, including regional and local services.
Titan OS also recently added the Apple TV app and is expected to get Spotify later this year. International streaming services such as Disney+, HBO Max, Prime Video and Netflix have long been supported.
However, many regional and local streaming apps are still missing.
