LG 2026 TV lineup (with TV Compare Tool)

27 Jan 2026 | Flatpanels |

LG will advance OLED in 2026 with a 2nd generation Tandem WOLED panel. A tandem panel is also finally coming to the C6 series, while W6 will reintroduce the wallpaper TV. Additionally, LG is introducing LCD TVs with RGB LED and a rival to Samsung's The Frame. Here's LG's 2026 TV lineup.

We have redesigned our TV lineup overview to include more data and technical information (under TV models click on to expand the view). We are also introducing an interactive TV compare tool (use to add TVs to the compare tool). It's all powered by the TV Database.
3 years ago, LG finally introduced a significantly upgraded OLED panel with G3, adding micro lenses (MLA). The micro lenses are now gone in favor of a new 4-layer panel with 'Primary RGB Tandem', but last year it remained exclusive to the premium G5. In 2026, LG is introducing G6 with a 2nd generation Tandem WOLED panel, as detailed here by LG Display. It is up to 20% brighter, so likely around 3000 nits peak brightness. LG Electronics refers to the panel as having 'Hyper Radiant Color Technology', but this is simply marketing for the 2nd generation panel, which will also show up in TVs from other brands later this year. The new panel also has a reduced anti-reflective coating with the "lowest reflection rate among existing displays of just 0.3 percent", according to panel maker LG Display.

Also in 2026, LG is finally expanding Tandem WOLED to its C series with the 77 and 83-inch C6H. The smaller sizes of C6 (and CS6) will continue to use a more regular OLED panel. A new series is W6, which is basically a G6 with LG's wireless connection box. The actual TV still requires a power cable, of course, so the benefit is reduced cable clutter and a thinner OLED TV at just 9.9mm in depth. W6 is essentially the revival of the 'wallpaper TV', although it is significantly thicker than the old W7, W8, W9 and WX. There will also be new B6 and B6E series. At least one of them will get LG Display's upgraded and cheaper 'OLED SE' (Special Edition) panel in sizes up to 83 inches. This panel finally delivers 1000 nits peak brightness, meaning that even LG's cheapest 2026 OLED TVs should hit the milestone this year.

These TVs will replace last year's M5, G5, C5 and B5 series. Is it confusing that LG is reusing the B6, C6 and G6 names from the 2016 models? Many years have passed since 2016, LG told FlatpanelsHD, so the company does not believe it will matter. In our view, however, failing to honor iconic products, which B6 and C6 certainly were in 2016 as the starting point for 4K HDR and the last great 3D TVs, is a mistake. And it will only compound with 'C7' in 2027 etc. unless LG changes course. In 2026, LG is also introducing its first LCD TVs with RGB LED. These models are positioned below LG's OLED models but do not appear to pose any real challenge to OLED. It looks more like an attempt to ride the hype train, as LG has confirmed RGB zone dimming only for MRGB95B – marketed as 'Micro RGB evo' – and confirmed that it will feature "over 1000 zones" – far fewer than the best LCD TVs on the market. It promises 100% Rec.2020 color, which would be an interesting development, but we remain skeptical until we can verify it ourselves. Also read: Is RGB LED a threat to OLED? How LG Display is pushing OLED forward Meanwhile, LG MRGB9M and LG MRGB85B are new LCD TV series that will be marketed as 'mini RGB' and appear to be edge-lit. The MRGB9M comes with LG's wireless connection box. The South Korean company will also introduce refreshed versions of its "QNED" models, which are more basic LCD TVs. For the first time, these will be available in sizes up to 115 inches (QNED90B). Inexpensive 'UB' ranges will also hit the market this year, and we will add them to the overview as soon as we have confirmed details. +100-inch OLED TVs or a more affordable 97-inch OLED? Not in 2026 either... LG is also following in the footsteps of Samsung by launching a rival to The Frame. LG's Gallery TV (LX7) is a standard 60Hz LCD TV, but it has a matte screen coating and the company's Gallery+ with access to famous artwork plus other content you can show on the TV when it is not in active use. Over 4,500 artworks in total, according to LG. However, these features are also available on the OLED models, with the W6 having an extra motion sensor to turn the art on/off depending on whether you are in the room or not.

As for new features this year, 4K120 game streaming via Nvidia GeForce Now will be supported, debuting on 2026 LG OLED TVs. Bluetooth ULL (Ultra Low Latency) is also being introduced, reducing controller latency to just 1ms – a feature that was previously promised for the 2025 models. Dolby Atmos FlexConnect is arriving on LG OLED TVs for the first time, enabling compatible FlexConnect speakers to connect wirelessly directly to the TV. This simplifies the expansion of surround sound for Dolby Atmos movies and series, without the usual cable clutter. LG has introduced its first soundbar and speakers with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. A dedicated Ambient Filmmaker Mode is being added as well. While it existed as a manual option in last year’s models, it is now presented as a standalone, easily selectable picture mode. The TruMotion motion system can use AI to dynamically adjust motion smoothing based on the type of content. webOS 26, which will later roll out to select existing TV models, integrates Google Gemini to generate AI-created images for the built-in Gallery features. LG also claims that webOS 26 is noticeably faster and smoother, although it remains to be seen whether the platform has been decluttered and the volume of ads reduced. For smart home control and media sharing, LG has integrated Homey, which it has acquired, alongside Matter with Thread, Apple Home and AirPlay, Google Cast (Chromecast) and Zigbee. You obviously still get all of the HDMI features of existing LG OLED TVs, but it is too early for HDMI 2.2. LG's 2026 models do not support Dolby Vision 2 either, a rare miss for the South Korean TV maker, which has historically been at the forefront of the HDR wave. LG has not changed its mind regarding HDR10+ or DTS either – still not supported.

LG has not announced any new 8K LCD or 8K OLED TVs for 2026, and the company's last remaining 8K QNED99 is not listed as carrying over. LG's Z3 8K OLED has also been discontinued. All the usual features remain, including Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos, Wowcast for wireless TV audio with compatible soundbars, HDMI QMS and LG's Gaming Dashboard. LG's 2026 models will be available starting this spring. Pricing details will be announced soon. You can recognize a LG 2026 model by the number '6' (5 for 2026) in the model name, i.e. C6, so that 6 = 2026, 5 = 2025, 4 = 2024, 3 = 2023, 2 = 2022, 1 = 2021, X = 2020, 9 = 2019, 8 = 2018, 7 = 2017, 6 = 2016. The new LCD models are designated QNED or UB. A reminder: QNED**B / UB = 2026, QNED**A / UA = 2025, QNED**T / UT = 2024, QNED / UR = 2023, QNED / UQ / Nano = 2022, QNED / UP / Nano = 2021, Nano / UN = 2020, SM / UM = 2019, SK / UK = 2018, SJ / UJ = 2017, UH = 2016, UF = 2015, UB = 2014. The line-up overview will be updated continuously to reflect any changes or new models announced by LG. Once the TVs become available, the model name and size will become an active and clickable link to price comparison or retailers.
