At IFA 2010 in Berlin Toshiba announced their Jacob Jensen designed TVs for Europe and now these are also being released in the US called VX700 and WX800. The latter is a 3DTV and both incorporate a lot of multimedia features and have a slim design.

Toshiba’s new VX800 model is just 1.2 inches deep and has a front design with sleek chrome trim. It’s Toshiba’s first 3DTV ever and comes with the 3D Resolution+ picture circuit.

WX800 is based on the Edge LED backlight technology and a 240 Hz picture circuit. Another key feature is the Enhanced NET TV service with Yahoo! Connected TV, Netflix, Facebook and Twitter. VX800 also has built-in WiFi and DLNA.

Toshiba VX700
Toshiba VX700 includes many of the same innovations as the flagship WX800, but without the 3D capability. VX700 also has an Edge lit LED backlight and features 120Hz technology and Enhanced NET TV with Yahoo! Connected TV.
Like the WX800, other available content and entertainment includes Netflix, VUDU, and Pandora Internet Radio.

When it comes to appearances, whether turned on or off, the VX700 is a style-focused addition to any room. At just over an inch thick, the VX700 and its functional design looks ideal either mounted on a wall, or connected to a swivel stand, Toshiba says.
Pricing and Availability:All the models are available now. WX800 is available in 46 and 55 inches called 46VX800 and 55WX800, priced at 2600 and 3300 USD, respectively.
VX700 will be available in 46 and 55 inches called 46VX700 and 55VX700, priced at 2300 and 2800 USD.
