Dell has announced 8 new PC monitors with LED backlight on the international market. Dell also promises that they have a 21.5-inch multi-touch monitor with IPS panel coming “later this fall”.
8 LED based Dell monitors
Dell has announced 8 new LCD monitors with LED backlight. The first three are the ST monitors with TN panels, available in 22-inch (ST2220), 23-inch (ST2320) and 24-inch (ST2420) sizes, and with two variants of each type; six summarized.

Dell ST2320L
These have 1920x1080 TN panels, 5 ms response time and sleek design in glossy black. Connectivity includes VGA and DVI for all four models and HDMI for three models called ST2220L/ST2320L/ST2321L.

Dell IN2020M
Dell is also releasing two new inexpensive 20-inch models called IN2020 and IN2020M. These include a 1600x900 TN panel and a 5 ms response time. The M-variant has a DVI input. IN2020 - without the N - only has D-SUB (VGA).
Multi-touch IPS coming
Dell has not detailed this one but says that they have a new 21.5 IPS based monitor coming “later this fall”.
Dell already has IPS based monitors on the market such as their U2410, U2711 and U2311 models. They also have the SX2210T multi-touch TN based monitor available.
This could suggest that we’ll see a new 21.5 IPS monitor with infrared multi-touch detection that has been incorporated in the current SX2210T.
