Philips bringing 3D Cinema 21:9 & wireless HDMI to USA

Philips has a few products available in the US but none of their high-end TVs. This is poised to change in the second half of 2011 where Philips is launching their impressive 3D Cinema 21:9 TV and a Blu-ray player with wireless HDMI.Philips 3D Cinema 21:9 in USA
Philips introduced their new 3D Cinema 21:9 Platinum TV in 2010 and it is available now in Europe. At CES 2011 Philips told the press that the extra wide 21:9 TV will be available in the US in the second half of 2011.
Philips 3D Cinema 21:9 Platinum has a 21:9 format and has been optimized for movie viewing. Most cinema movies today are created in a format wider than 16:9 and therefore you need either a projector or a 21:9 TV to eliminate the black bars at the top and the bottom of the screen.
