Westinghouse has announced a passive 3D TV with the 47-inch W47S2TCD as well as the 46-inch WC-4625T with Netflix and Vudu access. The TVs will available in US stores such as Best Buy, Costco and Target.
Westinghouse 3D TVs and Smart TVs
Westinghouse has released their first 3D TV and their first Smart TV (internet connected TV). Interestingly, Westinghouse has chosen to support the passive 3D technology just like Vizio.
Westinghouse’s first 3D TV
The passive 3D TV is called W47S2TCD and utilizes cheap polarized 3D glasses (4 pairs included). Westinghouse also mentions Full HD; 6 ms (g2g) response time and a DayBright light sensor.
Westinghouse will be releasing their first internet connected TV with 46-inch WC-4625T that has access to Netflix and Vudu. Other specs include a 120 Hz system, 6.5 ms response time, LED and an audio chip from Yamaha.
Lastly, Westinghouse mentions a 60” VR-6025Z with Full HD and 120 Hz, a 42” LD-4258 & a 40” LD-4070Z with LED and Full HD, and lastly an affordable 24” LD-2480 Full HD TV with LED.
Expect to see the new Westinghouse TVs at Best Buy, Costco and Target. The 3D TV has a MSRP of $1199.
