LG has also shared some technical information. As we already know LG is using white OLED with color filters. LG says that they use a 4-color pixels and a color refiner. Pixels contain RGBW (red, green, blue, white) subpixels. The color refiner is said to ensure color consistency from wider viewing angles. With these systems LG promises the ”most natural colors on any TV set”

- “Working closely with LG Display, we have a product which not only delivers on all the advantages of OLED over LCD but at a significantly lower cost than what could be achieved using existing OLED manufacturing technologies,” said Havis Kwon, President and CEO of LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company.
