Sky’s Now TV streaming service will be available to everyone in the UK. The streaming service will let users enjoy instant access to “high quality content” on smartphones, laptops, tablets and Smart TVs.

Sky’s Now TV streaming service will launch this summer
CEO Jeremy Darroch hesitated from talking about specific content examples but says that movies, sports, entertainment and more will be available either a as pay-as-you-go (pay for the content you want) option or as a monthly payment. It will not require any contract and will be available to all UK-based people – even those without a Sky TV subscription plan.
The two existing Sky Go and Sky Sports apps will continue as add-ons for Sky TV subscribers, Darroch said. Now TV will instead target the “13 million UK homes” without pay TV.
Now TV will start offering movies this summer followed by sports and entertainment shortly after.
