After launching on Apple TV and Chromecast in April, Starz is now expanding to the popular Roku players and Roku TVs. For $9 per month you get access to movies, TV series, and more.
Starz on Roku
Starz is expanding to more platforms in an effort to take on other major streaming players such as Netflix and Amazon. If you own one of the Roku media players, Roku sticks or a TV with the Roku OS built-in (Roku TVs) you can now download the Starz app.

The company says that with a subscription to Starz users have “instant access to more than 2,700 selections each month, including STARZ hit series ranging from Outlander, Power and the upcoming American Gods and other TV content, to Hollywood hits and popular movies including Avengers: Age of Ultron and, later this year, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
Starz costs $8.99 per month and the company offers a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you already have Starz from a participating cable, satellite or telco TV provider you can authenticate to use the app on Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast and mobile devices.
