The TV was not unveiled at the press event but in the backroom Philips told FlatpanelsHD that the current POS9002 OLED range will be expanded to include a 65” version.
65” Philips OLED TV
At IFA 2017, Philips announced its first 65” OLED TV with a built-in soundbar but the company will also launch another 65” OLED TV. It will be included in the current POS9002 line-up.
The POS9002 range has been well received, even winning a blind test against Samsung’s Q7 ”QLED” LCD, and Philips expects that the 65” will build on that momentum. The TV offers 4K resolution, HDR (HDR10 and HLG), 3-sided Ambilight and Android TV. POS9002 is powered by Philips’ P5 video processor.

Unlike the other new 65” Philips POS9603 OLED, the POS9002 will not include a soundbar. There are also some cosmetic differences between the two models.
Flatpanels is currently testing POS9002. We expect the review to be online within 1-2 weeks.
Pricing has not been finalized but the company indicated that will, like the 55”, be priced favorably. It is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2018.
