Samsung's flagship Q950TS 8K LCD will start at 6000 Euro, an increase over last year's 8K TVs, according to 4KFilme. The top 4K TVs will still carry high price tags despite a significant downgrade in dimming zones.
Samsung 2020 8K & 4K TV prices
Samsung US recently revealed pricing details for its 2020 4K TVs and a few 8K TVs but it left out details about its elegant Q950TS flagship 8K TV.
We now know that the Q950TS will start at 6000 Euro for a 65-inch model in Europe, or more specifically Germany. That is 1000 Euro more than last year's 65-inch Q950R flagship 8K TV according to website 4KFilme. A 75-inch Q950TS will carry a suggested retail price of 8000 Euro, again a 1000 Euro premium over last year's model.

Samsung will on the other hand introduce its Q800T range of 8K TVs that will be less expensive than last year's 8K TVs and even last year's flagship 4K TVs (Q90R).
The new top 4K LCD TVs for 2020 (Q95R and Q90R) will still carry high price tags despite a significant downgrade in dimming zones from around 500 to 100. Earlier this week, LG was the first major TV maker to announce EU pricing details. We now have a point of reference and Samsung's top 4K LCDs are priced slightly below LG's 4K OLEDs whereas Samsung's 8K LCDs are far less expensive than LG's 8K OLEDs.
