LG has started rolling out Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit to its 2018 TVs. The update is coming to 2018 OLED models (B8, C8, E8, G8, W8) and 2018 LCD models (SK and UK ranges).
AirPlay 2 and HomeKit
Apple and LG have previously rolled out AirPlay 2 and HomeKit functionality to the 2019 and 2020 TV models. In April, LG promised to also bring the features to its 2018 models.
AirPlay 2 lets you wirelessly push video or mirror the screen from an iPhone/iPad to the TV screen. HomeKit lets you control certain TV functions from an iOS device or Siri.

After a minor delay (October 2020 was the original timeline), owners (via reddit, 2) have started seeing firmware version 05.30.02 arrive on their 2018 OLED models. The new firmware is seemingly rolling out in Australia and South Korea first. As usual, firmware updates are rolling out gradually to different regions and gradually to different TV models. Update: Also in Germany according to 4KFilme.de.

Check your TV's built-in update function or LG's support pages (US here, Europe here) in the coming days or weeks to see if the update is ready for your TV.
LG's 2018 TVs also recently gained the Apple TV app.
