09 May 2023 | Rasmus Larsen |

Samsung has a full 2023 line-up of 8K and 4K LCD TVs ranging from high-end to affordable. They are available now in the US, the UK and other regions.

Samsung recently launched two 2023 QD-OLED ranges and has over the last few weeks also been rolling out its extensive line-up of LCD TVs marketed as "Neo QLED" or "QLED". The 2023 models will come to additional regions in the upcoming weeks.

Samsung QN95C

Samsung's flagship 4K LCD TV, QN95C, now longer features the external One Connect box

Samsung's 2023 models use the letter 'C' after the model number; QN900C, QN800C and QN700C are the new 8K LCD models while QN95C and QN90C are the high-end 4K LCD models with advanced miniLED zone dimming. Samsung's new LCD TVs will compete directly with models from TCL, Hisense and Sony that are also increasing the number of dimming zones this year. As Samsung Display no longer produces any LCD panels, Samsung Electronics has started using panels from TCL in many of its models.

Dolby Vision out – Atmos in

Samsung still refuses to support Dolby Vision but in 2022 it added support for Dolby Atmos. Tizen provides access to apps such as Disney+, HBO Max, Netflix and Xbox.
