Like Sky earlier this month, LG has launched its own camera with built-in microphones for video calling, home fitness, and other things.
The company's new Smart Cam (model VC23GA) features 1080p resolution and dual microphones. It is compatible only with 2022 and 2023 OLED and LCD models running webOS 22 and webOS 23.

Calling, fitness, more
LG said that the camera is compatible with many of the apps already available on webOS including RemoteMeeting, a video conferencing app, Exercite, a home fitness app that uses motion recognition to track your body movement, and FlexIt, a camera-assisted app that connects you to fitness/wellness professionals.

There is also a selfie app called Fun Mirror, and a dance tutorial app with K-Pop music called 1M HomeDance.

LG added that the camera comes with a physical cover to protect privacy.
The camera is rolling out globally starting this month for $100.
